Where We Are Going, and How
Our vision is the destination we hold in view. Our mission is the daily work that gets our students there.
Our Vision
To be a rural centre of learning in West Garo Hills where every student — whatever their background — discovers their potential and grows into a person of conscience, competence and compassion.
We picture a school that sends out good and useful citizens: young people who carry their learning lightly, hold to what is right under pressure, and return something of value to the villages and families that raised them.

Our Mission
To impart sound education — intellectual, moral and physical — and all-round formation, following the method taught and practised by St. John Bosco.
That mission is carried out class by class: through a full MBOSE curriculum in English medium, through religious and moral instruction drawn from the life of Christ, and through a House System that gives every student a place to belong.
- Prepare every pupil thoroughly for the HSSLC under MBOSE
- Inculcate habits of piety, virtue, self-reliance and discipline
- Develop talent through sport, culture and co-curricular life
- Work in genuine partnership with parents and guardians
Values We Try to Build In
The aim of the institution is to impart sound education and all-round formation by inculcating in students these four habits as they go through their academic studies.
Piety
A sense of the sacred, and of something larger than oneself — expressed in reverence, gratitude and prayer.
Virtue
Honesty when nobody is watching, courtesy in speech and action, and the courage to do what is right.
Self-Reliance
Students who draw up their own study timetable, keep their own books, and take responsibility for their own progress.
Discipline
Regularity, punctuality and order — the quiet framework inside which real learning and real freedom become possible.
Our House System
The cultural and curricular activities of the school are conducted through the House System, and all students are urged to take active part in it. Each house offers ample opportunity for all-round education and development.
Sports Day, cultural evenings, competitions and inter-house events all run through these four houses — giving every student, quiet or outgoing, a team to stand with and a reason to step forward.
